# Cape & Island Kitchens Earns Silver PRISM Award for Best Website

The [website Dative designed and developed for Cape & Island Kitchens](https://hellodative.com/work/cape-island-kitchens) received a Silver Award for Best Website at the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston’s 2026 PRISM Awards. The PRISM Awards recognize excellence in building, remodeling, design and marketing across Greater Boston and New England.

**Modernizing an Established Firm's Online Presence**

Cape & Island Kitchens has been designing, remodeling and building on Cape Cod since 1988. Over more than 35 years, the company has grown into a team of more than 50 people working across kitchen and bath design, remodeling, custom closets, cabinetry and office spaces, plus a Trade Services program for builders and design professionals.

Their previous brand and website didn’t show any of that. A homeowner landing on the old site would have had no way of knowing how established the company was or how much it was capable of.

The project began with a brand refresh to give Cape & Island a visual identity that matched the quality of its work. That brand then shaped a complete website redesign, built around three goals: show the full scope of the company, make the portfolio easy to explore, and answer homeowners’ questions before they pick up the phone.

The new site includes:

- **Dedicated landing pages** for kitchen design, bathroom design, remodeling, custom closets, cabinetry and office spaces, so each service can stand on its own in search and in conversation.
- **A filterable project gallery** organized by category, so visitors can go straight to the work most relevant to their project.
- **The full team by department**, showing the depth of a 50+ person organization.
- **A Resources section** that answers the questions homeowners ask before starting a remodel. It helps visitors arrive better informed and gives the site a foundation for search and AI-driven discovery.
- **A dedicated Trade Services section** for the builders, architects and designers who partner with Cape & Island.

Now we’re attracting more ideal clients and employees who want to work with a full-service, professional company.
